Boys will be boys
Murlin had his first Birthday January 10 and he is still quite the adolescent He is rambunctious and his kitten brother, Wheatley, is as well. They play so differently, I am unable to trust them in the same room alone. I don’t want either hurt and each can hurt the other, if, things got out of hand. Things start innocently; Murlin brings the ball. Mom is afraid if they both start running after it that someone will be bit or scratched, so I have to end the game.

Happy New Year
Murlin is making many adjustments in his life with his new brother. We have been working on sharpening up skills on listening first time and responding to commands.
He is doing better. Life is not fair though; Wheatley, his new cat brother does not have to do that. Murlin is doing much much better on his stays. This is important because when people come, I can not have him jumping and knocking someone down. Murlin is only 21.8 lbs. but believe me he can knock someone down.
Christmas was uneventful, both my daughters were home for the holiday. My elder daughter now wants a kitty. She says Murlin got too big.
Progress is slow with ensuring Murlin and Wheatley get along well and neither hurting the other. Today they enjoyed a sun spot relatively together.
